Members have the right to request the deletion of their personal information. To initiate a data deletion request, members can follow the steps in one of the following methods:
- In-App Request – Members can expunge their data concomitantly with their member account. This
operation is facilitated through the “My Account” section, wherein users may locate and utilize the “Delete
Account” option. This provision is designed to empower users with the legal prerogative to control the presence
of their personal information within our system.
- Email Request – Users can send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Account
Data Deletion & Retention Policy
YachtWave is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our members’ personal information. This Data Deletion Policy outlines our procedures for managing user data and provides information on how users can request the deletion of their data. YachtWave may collect the following types of data:
Information provided by our members during account creation or through the use of the app.
- Automatically Collected Information – Data automatically collected through the app, such as
device information, usage statistics, and crash reports.
- Third-Party Services – Data obtained from third-party services integrated into the app.
We use collected data for the following purposes:
- Service Improvement – Enhancing and optimizing app performance. Analyzing user behavior to
improve user experience.
- Personalization – Tailoring content and features to individual user preferences.

Data Deletion Requests
All data deletion requests are subject to the following:
- Verification Process – To ensure the security of user data, we may require users to verify
their identity before processing a data deletion request.
- Data Deletion Timeline – Upon receiving a valid data deletion request, we will make reasonable
efforts to delete the requested data within five (5) business days.
- Exceptions – Certain data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes even after
a deletion request is fulfilled.
