The YachtLINK™ YLK-1-WIFI is NMEA 2000® Certified by the National Marine Electronics Association.
Certification verifies that the device conforms to the NMEA 2000® standard for physical interface, network addressing, and message behaviour — so it can be installed on a vessel's NMEA 2000® backbone alongside certified equipment from other manufacturers, and behave predictably on that network.

Load Equivalency Number
The YachtLINK™ YLK-1-WIFI has a Load Equivalency Number (LEN) of 2, equivalent to a maximum of 100 mA of NMEA 2000® bus current.
The LEN is also printed permanently on the product label. When planning a network, add the LEN of every connected device: an NMEA 2000® network supports a total of 60 LEN.

Install the device on a drop cable of 6 m or less, in accordance with normal NMEA 2000® network practice. The backbone must be correctly terminated at both ends.

Instance Configuration
The device instance, system instance, and installation description fields are field-programmable over the NMEA 2000® network using PGN 126208, and are retained through a power cycle. The device has no switches or jumpers requiring physical modification.
