What is this? Getting your boat’s records out of YACHTWAVE as a printable report, and sharing a task, checklist, note or ticket with someone who does not use the app.
The Basics
The export is a formatted web report, one per boat, not a spreadsheet. It gathers the boat’s particulars, crew, engines, equipment, inventory, service schedules, the maintenance, cruise and general logs, readings, tasks, checklists, notes, documents, expenses and photos on one page you can print or save as a PDF from your browser.
How to Export a Boat
- On the web version, open My Account and click Export Data.
- Click the boat. Its report opens in a new browser tab.
- Print it, or use your browser’s print dialog to save it as a PDF.
In Fleet Edition the same report opens from the boat’s row in the fleet’s Boats list.
Sharing a Single Record
Tasks, checklists, checklist templates, notes and tickets each have a share action that opens a web page for that one item. Anyone with the link can read it without an account, so it is the way to send a work order to a contractor or a checklist run to an owner.
Spreadsheet (CSV) Export
The only CSV export is in Fleet Edition → Reports. Build the report you want, and the export button saves the page you are looking at, with the columns shown, as a CSV file named after the report and the date.
Key Things to Know
- A report link works for anyone who has it. Treat it like the document itself.
- Export links made before September 2026 no longer open. Open the boat in the app and export again for a fresh report.
- There is no export in the mobile app. Use the web version.

Can I get my tasks or inventory as a spreadsheet?
Only through Fleet Edition's Reports page. The My Account export is a formatted report, not CSV.
I sold the boat. How do I give the new owner the records?
Export the boat's report for them, or add them to the boat as a crew member with the Owner role and remove yourself.
Does the report include photos and documents?
Yes, the report has sections for both.
